In this session, we look at what the move from dbt Core to dbt Platform actually involves. Not just the technical side, but the real-world considerations: what changes, what gets easier, and what you need to think about before making the switch.   

​On the evening of 23rd April, we're bringing together data leaders from across industries for an honest, practical conversation about what it takes to make dbt work at scale. You'll hear directly from dbt Labs on where the platform is headed, get frontline implementation insight from The Information Lab's principal engineering team, and hear candid stories from senior practitioners at Viasat, Soho House, and VMO2. ​This is an invite-only event for data leaders and senior practitioners. Expect real talk, good questions, and plenty of time to connect over drinks at our London office.

In this 45-minute session, The Information Lab explores why traditional BI programs often fall short and what successful organizations do differently.
