Tableau 9.0 out today
There’s a lot of excitement at The Information Lab Towers, with the news that Tableau 9.0 has officially released today. We won’t go into chapter and verse on all the new features – Tableau’s website already does a great job of that – and I even wrote a blog post on some of the lesser spotted enhancements we can look forward to.
Suffice to say, the introduction of new features like smart maps, automatic data prepping, instant calculation editing, LOD calculations, Regex expressions, not to mention some huge strides in improving performance, will no doubt have the Tableau community downloading the Desktop and Server releases ASAP.
